The defenceman was drafted 11th overall by the Coyotes in the 2019 NHL Draft after playing 44 games for Brynas IF of the SHL. He finished the season with three goals and seven points and also led Sweden to a gold medal at the 2019 U18 World Junior Championship.
“Victor is a highly skilled player and an elite prospect,” said Coyotes general manager John Chayka in a statement. “We are very pleased to get him signed and look forward to having him come to training camp and compete for a spot on our roster.”
No financial terms for the deal were disclosed.
