Coyotes sign defenceman Jarred Tinordi to two-way deal

Jarred Tinordi was dealt from Montreal last season.

The Arizona Coyotes signed defenceman Jarred Tinordi to a one-year, two-way contract, worth 700,000.

Tinordi, 24, split the 2015-16 season between Coyotes, Montreal Canadiens, and the AHL’s St. John’s Icecaps.

He has appeared in 53 career NHL games, registering six assists with 78 penalty minutes.
