Coyotes sign defenceman Mermis to one-year contract

The Arizona Coyotes have signed defenceman Dakota Mermis to a one-year, two-way contract.

The 24-year-old played in nine games for the Coyotes in 2017-18 but did not pick up a point while recording a minus-two rating.
