Jamie McGinn has signed a three-year, $10-million contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
This is the 27-year-old’s fifth NHL team. He had 27 points in 63 games with the Buffalo Sabres last season before being traded to the Anaheim Ducks where he added 12 points in 21 games. McGinn has also spent time with the San Jose Sharks and Colorado Avalanche.
“We are very pleased to sign Jamie to a three-year contract,” Coyotes general manager John Chayka said in a press release. “Jamie is a big, physical, power forward who scores goals and plays a gritty style. He will be a great addition to our roster.”
The Fergus, Ont., native has totalled 91 goals, 167 points and 205 penalty minutes in 450 career NHL games.
