Coyotes sign WJC golden goal scorer Steenbergen to entry-level deal

The Arizona Coyotes have signed world junior championship golden goal scorer Tyler Steenbergen to a three-year, entry-level deal.

The five-foot-10, 187-pound winger has 44 goals and 98 points for WHL Swift Current. He also scored the winning goal for Canada in the world junior final against Sweden with 1:40 remaining in regulation time.

The Red Deer, Alta., native has drafted by the Coyotes in the fifth round (128th overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft.
