Dalton Prout signs two-year extension with Blue Jackets

Columbus Blue Jackets defenceman Dalton Prout has signed a two-year contract extension, the team announced Friday.

Prout, 26, has 201 career games under his belt, scoring five goals and 29 points while recording 234 penalty minutes.

Prout was in the news recently for his one-game suspension for punching Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov on March 13.
