Well, that was insane.
We’ve been saying that the NHL salary cap has been killing free agency for years now. Almost every general manager in the league just responded with “OH YEAH??!?”
Of all the seemingly millions of players who were signed today, some of them played on the Toronto Maple Leafs last season. The Leafs even signed a guy, too! I plan on making a larger video about the free agent frenzy once the dust settles. While we wait for that, I made some quick Twitter videos for five of the players who put pen to paper today.
