Len Boogaard says his son slipped through the cracks.

In an exclusive interview with Prime Time Sports Thursday on Sportsnet 590 The Fan, the father of late NHLer Derek Boogaard chronicled his son’s journey through addiction that ultimately led to his death in 2011.

Boogaard’s father, a retired RCMP officer who led his own investigation into the circumstances surrounding his son’s death, shared some of his findings and thoughts on how the situation has been handled to this point in time.
