The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed winger Martin Frk to a one-year contract.
Frk, 23, had 27 goals and 50 points in 65 games for Detroit’s AHL team, the Grand Rapids Griffins, this past season. He played two games with the Carolina Hurricanes to start the season, before being claimed by Detroit on Oct. 9.
Frk was Detroit’s second-round pick, 49th overall, in 2012.
