Devils’ Kyle Palmieri to replace Taylor Hall in all-star game

New Jersey Devils forward Kyle Palmieri will replace teammate Taylor Hall in the all-star game.

Hall was placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury on Jan. 1 and last played in a game for the Devils on Dec. 23. The forward has 11 goals and 37 points in 33 games this season.

Palmieri, who will be making the first all-star appearance of his nine-year career, has 38 points in 47 games this season and leads New Jersey in scoring with 22 goals.
