New Jersey Devils defenceman Sami Vatanen will miss Game 5 against the Tampa Bay Lightning with an upper-body injury.
Vatanen has one goal this post-season, and had 32 points in 72 games during the regular season.
He was acquired by the Devils in exchange for centre Adam Henrique on Nov. 30.
New Jersey, down 3-1 in the series, will be looking to stay alive on the road at 3 p.m. ET.
Mirco Mueller will take Vatanen’s spot on the Devils blue line.
