The New Jersey Devils have signed defenceman Jérémy Groleau to a three-year, entry-level contract.

According to CapFriendly.com, the contract carries an average-annual value of $723,333.
Groleau, who will turn 19 in October, was passed over in June’s NHL Draft but attended the Devils training camp on an Amateur Tryout agreement.
The Devils are also returning Groleau to the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the QMJHL, the team he has played the last three seasons with. In 164 career QMJHL games, Groleau has eight goals and 31 points.
