Devils sign goalie Evan Cormier to entry-level contract

The New Jersey Devils have signed goalie Evan Cormier to an entry-level contract and assigned him to the Binghamton Devils of the AHL.

The move comes after the Devils traded Keith Kinkaid to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Mackenzie Blackwood has been recalled to the NHL to replace Kinkaid.

Cormier has appeared in 26 games for the University of Guelph Gryphons, Adirondack Thunder and Binghamton Devils this season.
