Devils sign John Moore to a three-year deal

John Moore will be a part of the Devils' defence corps.

The New Jersey Devils signed defenceman John Moore to a three-year contract just hours after the start of NHL free agency.

Moore, 24, registered two goals and 11 points in 57 games with the New York Rangers and Arizona Coyotes in 2014-15.

Moore was traded, along with forward Anthony Duclair, and two draft picks by the Rangers to the Coyotes in exchange for defenceman Keith Yandle and Chris Summers and two draft picks prior to the trade deadline thos past season.

He was originally a first round pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2009 NHL Draft
