The Anaheim Ducks and assistant coach Paul MacLean have mutually parted ways, the team announced Thursday.
MacLean was hired by the Ducks in June 2015, a few months after he was fired from his position as head coach of the Ottawa Senators. This was his second stint in Anaheim, having served as an assistant there from 2002 to 2004.
The longtime NHL coach won the Jack Adams award in 2013 while with the Senators.
