Ducks sign forward Sam Carrick to one-year contract extension

The Anaheim Ducks have signed centre Sam Carrick to a one-year contract extension, the team announced Sunday.

In nine games this season, Carrick had two points along with 23 goals and 43 points in 46 games in the AHL.

The 28-year-old has five points in 34 career games in the NHL.

Carrick was selected in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
