Carl Hagelin is an Anaheim Duck.
The New York Rangers traded Hagelin, along with picks 59 and 179 in the 2015 NHL Draft, to Anaheim in exchange for Emerson Etem and the 41st overall pick in 2015.
Both Hagelin and Etem are set to become restricted free agents on July 1.
Etem, a 23-year-old native of Long Beach, Calif., scored 15 goals and 16 assists in 112 games with Anaheim, which drafted him 29th overall in 2010. Etem also scored three goals for the Ducks in their 2015 playoff run.
Hagelin, a 26-year-old Swede, scored 17 goals and 18 assists in 82 games for New York last season.
