America does sporting events the right way.

The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL held a $1 beer night on Wednesday for their game versus the Elmira Jackals. It also happened to be ‘Seinfeld’ night. Now that’s something we can slam cans to.

Some Cyclones fans used the discounted beer to flash their engineering skills by constructing an impressive beer pyramid along the glass.

That looks like roughly $100 worth of Pabst Blue Ribbon. $100 in most Canadian NHL arenas might buy you five or six glasses of draught. At least you can use the cups to run some cup and ball games on the street on your way home to help offset the cost of getting lit at the game, though.

Now who’s moving to Cincinnati in advance of the next $1 beer night?
