Eddie Lack’s new mask has Luongo’s face on it

Eddie Lack said after his trade to the Hurricanes that he's thankful for his time in Vancouver, but is looking forward to the transition he'll make to Carolina.

The hockey world’s favourite goalie bromance is alive and well.

On Tuesday, Eddie Lack unveiled part of his brand new hockey helmet on Twitter, revealing a familiar face — a smiling Roberto Luongo — to pay homage to his long-distance love with his former Canucks teammate.

Lack, who previously backed up Luongo in Vancouver, was recently dealt to the Carolina Hurricanes. And, as he pointed out at the time of the trade, the move to Carolina brings him closer to the Florida Panthers goalie.
