Edmonton Oilers announce 2017-18 pre-season schedule

Wayne Gretzky takes questions from the media about the NHL revealing which team was voted NHL’s Greatest Stanley Cup Champion and is joined by Paul Coffey and NBA legend Charles Barkley.

The Edmonton Oilers have announced their pre-season schedule for the 2017-18 season and it includes games against all three of their Western Canada rivals.

The team will kick off the pre-season with split squad home-and-home games against the Calgary Flames on Sept. 18. It will also play a game against the Carolina Hurricanes at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Sask.

The Oilers will close the pre-season with a road game against the Vancouver Canucks on Sept. 30.

Wednesday, Sept. 27

Edmonton Oilers vs. Carolina Hurricanes at Saskatoon, 7 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 30

Edmonton Oilers at Vancouver Canucks, 8 p.m.
