Edmonton Police dogs join the Oilers at Friday practice

Check this out: it must be the "dog days" for the Edmonton Oilers, as the team was joined at practice Friday by Edmonton Police dogs.

The Edmonton Oilers weren’t alone when they hit the ice for practice on Friday morning.

The team was joined by some playful pups as part of the Oilers’ partnership with the Edmonton Police.

Thankfully, the pupparazzi was on hand to capture the action.

The EPS Canine Unit got a special morning skate of their own, which included stickhandling with Jordan Eberle, tug-of-war with Leon Draisaitl, and even some pets from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Yes, they are working dogs, but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate this level of adorable.
