Evgeni Malkin returns to Penguins lineup, Fleury still out

Ron MacLean and Don Cherry discuss the Capitals taking on the Flyers, Brian Elliott’s performance in Game 1, and why goalie masks need to change.

Pittsburgh Penguins centre Evgeni Malkin will play in Game 2 of his team’s Round 1 series against the New York Rangers.

Malkin has been out since March 11 with a shoulder injury. He has 111 points in 101 career playoff games, and won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2009.

Jeff Zatkoff will start for the Penguins, as Marc-Andre Fleury continues to recover from a concussion.

Zatkoff was solid in Game 1 for Pittsburgh, stopping 35 of 37 shots as the Penguins won 5-2.

Forward Bryan Rust will also be in the lineup for Pittsburgh, who made Oskar Sundqvist and Justin Schultz healthy scratches on Saturday.
