The NHL season is upon us, when means it’s time to put together the next championship team in your hockey pool. To get you set for draft day, check out our official list of the top 250 players in fantasy below.

These rankings are based on past production as well as calculated expectations for the upcoming season. The formula factors in goals, assists, plus/minus, power-play points, shots on goal and penalty minutes for skaters, and wins, goals-against average, save percentage and shutouts for goalies.

A variety of factors such as utilization, contract status and potential are also taken into account while compiling the list.

Finally, these rankings are designed specifically for single-season, non-keeper leagues.
