Edmonton Oilers goaltender Viktor Fasth returned to practice on Sunday.
Fasth has been out since Oct. 14 when he was injured in a game against the Los Angeles Kings. He hurt his groin in the first period against the Kings after giving up three goals on 11 shots and was later placed on the team’s injured reserve.

In two games, he has an 0-1 record with a 5.19 goals against average and an .870 save percentage. Fasth was acquired in March from the Anaheim Ducks for a pair of draft picks.
Edmonton head coach Dallas Eakins says that his goaltender is making headway as he attempts to return to the lineup.
The Oilers host the 7-1 Montreal Canadiens on Monday night.
Edmonton is in last place in the Western Conference’s Pacific division with a 3-4-1 record, but have been hot of late, winning their last three games.
