Flames deal defenceman Brandon Davidson to Sharks

The San Jose Sharks have acquired defenceman Brandon Davidson from the Calgary Flames for future considerations.

The 28-year-old Davidson has played seven games for the Flames this season, spending the majority of 2019-20 in the AHL with the Stockton Heat where he recording three goals and 20 points.

A sixth-round pick (162nd overall) in 2010 by the Edmonton Oilers, Davidson has played in 169 career NHL games with five different teams.
