The Calgary Flames have placed forward Michael Cammalleri on injured reserve, according to the team’s official website.
Cammalleri suffered a concussion on Jan. 11 in a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins and is out indefinitely.
The Flames visit the San Jose Sharks Monday and will have the services of defenceman Kris Russell, who returns to the lineup after missing the last 13 games with a grade two MCL sprain.

The Flames have lost three straight and 14 of their past 17 games. Only the Edmonton Oilers and Buffalo Sabres have fewer points in the standings.
