Flames’ Ramo leaves game with injury

Karri Ramo left the game after suffering this weird-looking injury from a shot to the pads.

The Calgary Flames gave netminder Jonas Hiller the day off Saturday, but ended up having to use him anyway after Karri Ramo was forced to leave the game.

Ramo appeared to strain something while making a save in the opening minute of the first period of Calgary’s game against the Edmonton Oilers, and immediately headed to the trainer’s room.
