Flames re-sign goaltender David Rittich to one-year deal

The Calgary Flames have re-signed goaltender David Rittich to a one-year contract worth $800,000, the team announced.

Rittich split time between the Flames and the AHL’s Stockton Heat last season.

The 25-year-old played 21 games for the Flames, posting a 8-6-3 record with a .904 save percentage and a 2.92 goals-against average. The Jihlava, Czech Republic native went 7-5-0 with a .889 save percentage and a 3.18 goals-against average with the Heat.
