Flames recall Rasmus Andersson from AHL Stockton

Daren Millard, Gord Stellick and Colby Armstrong debate whether the current playoff format is working in the NHL.

The Calgary Flames have recalled defenceman Rasmus Andersson from the AHL’s Stockton Heat.

Andersson has eight goals and 30 assists in 53 games with Stockton this season.

He appeared in one game for the Flames earlier this year, a Nov. 9 contest against Detroit.

The 21-year-old was drafted 53rd overall in 2015.

The Flames also assigned goaltender Nick Schneider to Stockton.

Schneider had a 3.70 goals-against average and .885 save percentage in 61 games with the WHL’s Calgary Hitmen this season.
