Flames sign German forward Yasin Ehliz to two-way contract

The Calgary Flames have signed free agent forward Yasin Ehliz to a one-year, two-way contract valued at $650,000.

Ehliz, 25, played last season with the Nuermberg Ice Tigers in of the Deutsche Eishhockey Liga in Germany. He had 10 goals and 31 points in 46 games, and also won a silver medal with Germany at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
