Flames sign Tanner Glass to one-year deal

The Calgary Flames have signed forward Tanner Glass to a one-year contract worth $650,000.

Glass joined the team on a professional tryout agreement this summer, after spending the previous three seasons with the New York Rangers.

He had one goal and one assist in 11 games last season, though he had a relatively productive playoffs, scoring a goal and three assists in seven games.

The Flames also assigned forward Luke Gazdic to the AHL.

Gazdic was placed on waivers Monday.
