Tobias Rieder and Zac Rinaldo have each signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $700,000 with the Calgary Flames after successful tryouts with the team.

Calgary officially announced the signings on Sunday morning, hours after Rieder scored twice in the Flames’ pre-season finale against the Edmonton Oilers.

Rieder was an unrestricted free agent after going scoreless in 67 games last season with the Oilers.

Rinaldo had one goal and two assists in 23 games last season for the Nashville Predators.
