James Neal will be unavailable for the Calgary Flames when they take on the Buffalo Sabres Wednesday while he battles an illness.

Additionally, defenceman Travis Hamonic will miss his second straight game while dealing with a personal matter.

Neal has four goals and 10 points in 46 games this season, his first with the Flames. Hamonic has three goals and 12 points in 39 games.
