Mike McKenna is the latest goaltender to join the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Flyers claimed McKenna off of waivers on Friday.

McKenna was waived by Vancouver, which had acquired him from Ottawa via trade on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old has an .897 save percentage in 10 NHL games this season.

He’ll be a free agent at season’s end.

The Flyers have already used six goalies this season: Brian Elliott, Calvin Pickard, Carter Hart, Anthony Stolarz, Michal Neuvirth, and Alex Lyon.

Neuvirth is currently out with a lower-body injury, necessitating the claim of McKenna.
