The Philadelphia Flyers have re-signed centre Scott Laughton to a two-year extension, the team announced Tuesday.
The 23-year-old appeared in a pair of games for the Flyers this past season but spent most of 2016-17 in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, scoring 19 goals and 39 points in 60 games.
Selected by the Flyers in the first round (20th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, the Oakville, Ont., native has nine goals and 27 points along with 51 penalty minutes in 109 career NHL games.
