The Philadelphia Flyers have signed defenceman Yegor Zamula to an entry-level deal. The team has also assigned him to the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL.

Zamula, a native of Chelyabinsk, Russia, was not selected in June’s NHL Draft and was invited to Flyers’ camp on an Amateur Try-Out contract.

Last season split between the Hitmen and Regina Pats, he had two goals and 18 points in 69 games.
