Forward Connor Brickley gets one-year deal with Panthers

The Florida Panthers and forward Connor Brickley have agreed to a one-year, two-way contract.

Brickley, 25, recorded 26 points in 69 games with the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers this past season. The Everett, Mass., native has scored one goal and picked up four assists in 23 total NHL games, all with Florida in 2015-16.

He was originally selected by the Panthers in the second round of the 2010 NHL Draft.
