Ex-Flames goaltender Berra scores in AHL game

Watch as Lake Erie Monster’s goaltender Reto Berra scores an empty netter and then celebrates.

Reto Berra became the 11th goaltender in American Hockey League history to score a goal in a game on Friday night.

Berra scored on an empty net at the 18:34 mark of the third period to put the Monsters up 4-1. The Wolves, unsurprisingly, did not take well to Berra’s celebration following the goal.

Berra’s Lake Erie Monsters downed the Chicago Wolves by a final score of 5-1.
