The GoFundMe account set up to help families and those affected by the tragedy involving the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team has surpassed the $10-million mark.

It has received over 120,000 donations, which is the largest number of contributions to a GoFundMe campaign in history, according to the company. Donations have come from over 80 countries.

It was started April 6 by Humboldt, Sask., resident Sylvie Kellington.

A bus carrying members of the Broncos team crashed last week, killing 16 people. It was travelling to a playoff game before colliding with a semi-trailer near Tisdale, Sask.
