The Vegas Golden Knights acquired forward Chandler Stephenson from the Washington Capitals in exchange for a 2021 fifth-round pick on Monday, the teams announced.

Stephenson, 25, was a 2012 third-round pick and has since collected 33 points in 168 career NHL games (including four points in 24 games this season). Stephenson was part of the Capitals’ 2017-18 Stanley Cup-winning team.
Washington’s 2021 fifth round pick is the third 2021 draft pick acquired by Vegas, along with second-round picks from New Jersey and St. Louis.
