Vegas Golden Knights forward Max Pacioretty has been ruled unfit to play in Game 2 on Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The 31-year-old played 18:08 against Chicago in Game 1, recording four shots. He recently joined his team in the Edmonton bubble and began practising with Vegas on Monday.

Pacioretty suffered a minor injury during the first week of Phase 3 training camp and didn’t travel with the team to Edmonton on July 26 in order to continue rehab in the team’s home facilities. He did not play in all three of the Golden Knights’ round-robin matchups.
