Golden Knights sign defenceman Jake Bischoff to three-year contract

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed defenceman Jake Bischoff to a three-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

The deal has an average annual value of $716,667.

Bischoff, 24, registered two goals and 13 points in 60 games with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves during the 2018-19 regular season. In the Calder Cup playoffs last season, Bischoff recorded five assists in 22 games.

The Minnesota defenceman was selected by the New York Islanders in the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Draft, 185th overall. He was acquired by the Golden Knights from the Islanders during the 2017 Expansion Draft.
