Golden Knights sign defenceman Nick Holden to two-year extension

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed defenceman Nick Holden to a two-year extension, the team announced on Monday.

The 32-year-old Holden has five goals and 11 points in 56 NHL games this season. In the league since 2010, Holden joined the Columbus Blue Jackets as an undrafted free agent. He has also played for the Colorado Avalanche, New York Rangers and Boston Bruins.

Holden is in his second season with the Golden Knights.
