Golden Knights sign Hobey Baker finalist Jack Dugan

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed Hobey Baker finalist and 2017 fifth-round pick, Jack Dugan, the team announced Monday.

The terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to continue to play a key role in the development of Jack Dugan as both a hockey player and as a young man within our organization,” said Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon in a press release.

“Jack took significant steps in his growth over the past two seasons as one of the best all-around players in college hockey, and has proven that he is ready for the next challenge in his young career.”

The six-foot-two, 192-pound winger led the NCAA in points as a sophomore at Providence College, collecting 52 in just 34 games.

A native of Pittsburgh, Dugan also led college hockey in assists, points per game (1.53), assists per game (1.24), power-play points (22) and even-strength points (30) in 2019-20

In his freshman season, Dugan finished second on the Friars with 39 points in 41 games and was named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team.
