Gotta See It: First look at Shea Weber in a Canadiens sweater

Defenceman Shea Weber comments on playing in Nashville, moving over to Montreal and being traded for P.K. Subban.

The Montreal Canadiens traded fan favourite P.K. Subban to the Nashville Predators for Shea Weber in June, and here we are on August 8 with our first look at the two-time Olympic gold medalist in the bleu, blanc, et rouge.

The Canadiens took to Twitter to show off Weber’s No. 6 sweater.

Of course, there’s no point in having Shea Weber around without serving up a glimpse of him partaking in some deadlifts in the weight room.

The Canadiens and Predators shocked the hockey world when they swapped all-star defencemen on June 29. Subban arrived in Nashville in style, serenading fans with a round of karaoke.

We’ll give Subban the edge in style and in the Corsi count, but give us Weber on the squat rack.
