If the Vancouver Canucks are still looking for some help putting pucks in the net, they might consider trying to convince Philip Larsen to return to North America.

The smooth-skating Dane – who suited up for 26 games in Vancouver last season before being sidelined by injuries – opted to return to the KHL for the 2017-18 campaign, signing a two-year deal with Ufa Salavat Yulayev in April.

Four games into his KHL return, Larsen has four goals to his name, including this gorgeous, end-to-end tally buried during an 11-3 victory on Thursday:

While things may not have clicked with the Canucks, it’s safe to say Larsen still has some skills to work with.

The 27-year-old – who broke into the NHL with the Dallas Stars in 2009-10 – has already returned to the North American league once after a stint in the KHL, signing with Vancouver last season after two years with Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk and Jokerit.

If the rest of his 2017-18 campaign is dotted with a few more plays like the one above, a second return might just become inevitable.
