Gotta See It: Giroux saucers pucks in bucket

Continuing a trend started by Patrick Kane's viral stickhandling video, Claude Giroux shows off his silky sauce pass skills.

We’re starting to spot a trend here — and we like it.

Last Friday, Bauer dropped a video of Patrick Kane’s ridiculous stick-handling skills, and the clip went viral, racking up more than 2.1 million YouTube views and counting.

This week, for Part Deux of what we hope will be a long series on training camp trickery, the camera turns to Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux, who shows off the soft touch that has earned him 99 assists in his last two seasons (125 games).

It takes Giroux three tries to loft a puck into a plastic bucket placed in the crease from the near faceoff circle, then only one shot to drain it from each the blue line and centre line — depending how generous the editing suite was with the footage:
