Gotta See It: Tempers boil over after Jets score sixth goal on Wild

The Wild players couldn’t stop their tempers from flaring after the Jets scored the sixth goal of the game against Alex Stalock.

When you’re getting your ass kicked, emotions can get the best of you — even for the professionals.

Case in point: Monday night’s Winnipeg JetsMinnesota Wild game.

At the 6:18 mark of the third period, Jets forward Bryan Little potted one home to make it 6-2 Winnipeg. Immediately after, Wild defenceman Kyle Quincey had enough of what had been a rough night for him and his Minnesota teammates, grabbing the Jets’ Nikolaj Ehlers and inciting what appeared to be a massive 10-man, schoolyard pile-on brawl.

When the dust finally settled, two Jets — Ehlers and Dustin Byfuglien — and the Wild’s Chris Stewart got two-minute minors, while Quincey was given four minutes for roughing and a 10-minute misconduct.

Winnipeg ended up winning the game 7-2.
