Hurricanes’ Micheal Ferland returns to lineup for Game 1 vs. Bruins

The Hurricanes explain in their own words why they started the Storm Surge celebrations, the fun the foster with the fans, and their reaction to Don Cherry’s criticism.

Just as the Carolina Hurricanes are about the drop the puck in the Eastern Conference final series with the Boston Bruins, they are getting some reinforcements.

Micheal Ferland returned to the lineup and is available for Carolina head coach Rod Brind’Amour for Thursday’s Game 1.

Ferland has been out of the Hurricanes lineup since Game 3 of their first-round matchup with the Washington Capitals with an upper-body injury.

The 27-year-old had 40 points and 17 goals for Carolina in 71 regular-season games this season.
