The Carolina Hurricanes gave their players a treat on Friday. Literally.
The Hurricanes brought Girl Scout cookies for goaltender Anton Khudobin and forward Andrej Nestrasil to try for the very first time Friday and decided to record the whole thing.
With Khubodin and Nestrasil, born in Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic respectively, it’s reasonable to believe they’ve never had Girl Scout cookies before and their reaction is worth watching. Especially Khudobin’s.
The 28-year-old netminder did not hide his pleasure of how much he liked the treats. In fact, he liked them so much he re-named one kind “really yummy cookie” in his native tongue.
I wonder if Khubodin is related to a certain blue furry creature who also shares his affinity for cookies.
